40th Baby Wooden Medal
40th Baby Wooden Medal
Couldn't load pickup availability
This engraved wooden medal is a keepsake for a student midwife to give to the family of their 40th birth. It is not a toy, not suitable to give to a baby, and mustn't be tied around the baby's neck. I've left the ribbon purposely short to make it clear it's not meant to be put on a baby tied.

I designed the design using my baby artwork, and had it printed by another small UK business lady.

What does 40 catches mean in midwifery?
Student midwives in the UK are required to attend and participate in a minimum of 40 vaginal births as part of their NMC training requirements. Reaching 40 catches is a significant milestone on the road to qualification.
