About the artist

My motherhood journey - including a home-birth-turned-traumatic-NICU-stay - has transformed me. With no art training or plan, I started my shop with a few watercolour birth affirmations during my second pregnancy - where creativity became my hope and healing - and Womb to World Art has grown from there.

Everything you see in my student midwife shop is designed and made by me, with genuine love for the birth world and the people who dedicate themselves to supporting mothers and babies.

I have so much respect and admiration for everyone choosing this path, and appreciate how hard the journey of a midwife must be. So I'm really glad to make fun, colourful and useful things to help you treat yourselves.

Why do you make birth art?

After a traumatic emergency birth and NICU stay following my first planned home birth, I started Womb to World Art when pregnant with my second baby, and expressing myself through art became a big part of preparing for a spiritual, healing birth.

I love growing my range of hand-painted birth education printouts and pregnancy gifts, and hope to inspire others: whether that is in their pregnancy journey or spiritual rebirth.

I have so much respect for midwives and student midwives - and it gives me great pleasure to create pretty and practical things for you to brighten up your uniform and treat yourself on your birthy journey.
