Newborn Transition PDF Download

This A4 digital doula download can be printed and used as a handout or teaching tool to discuss ways to support newborn babies in their transition from womb to world.

After more than 9 months in their cosy womb, the big wide world must seem very bright, overwhelming and surprising. Being left on their own in silence and total stillness is unlikely to feel truly safe to a newborn baby.

To help babies feel comfortable and safe we can do things that remind them of the womb, and let them know someone they know will always be there.
