I made this mug because I thought the phrase "Strong students make mighty midwives" was nice in multiple ways (thanks to my Shaun for suggesting the wording!) ☺️

Firstly, I hope it will make a lovely gift for a student midwife who is having a hard time or starting out - a reminder that she’s strong, that she’s going to make it, and that all the hard work and difficult days are shaping her into an even mightier midwife!

Secondly, I thought it would be good for a student midwife to have something that quietly tells mentors and colleagues that she’s made of tough stuff. That just because she’s new, still learning, or maybe young, doesn’t mean she isn’t strong and capable! It could also remind that everyone was a new student once too, and everyone deserves a chance and is doing their best 🩷
