We Did It – Student Midwife Cohort Card
A celebration of making it through together!
This illustrated card captures the moment a whole student midwife cohort reaches the end of a year, a placement, or training itself. The words We did it sit above a collective of future midwives, honouring not just individual achievement but shared survival, support, and growth.
Long days, emotional labour, exams, placements, doubt, resilience and joy are all held within this simple phrase. It’s a card for classmates, study groups, placement friends, or an entire cohort who leaned on each other and kept going.
Perfect as an end-of-year gift, a graduation keepsake, or a shared reminder of a chapter completed side by side. Whether given to one person or bought in multiples for friends, it marks the power of doing hard things together.
This A6 midwifery card honours the milestones along the journey to be becoming a midwife, made with my original illustration based on a real moment from a midwifery cohort who kindly shared their photo.
