✨ Imperial Jasper Dilation Bead Keychain for Student Midwives ✨
I've made a string of 10mm imperial jasper crystal beads with my placenta charm, which can be used as a tactile tool for practicing cervical dilation assessments. I know you'll find a lot of other dilation beads out there that are cheaper, but I hope that the genuine crystals with original placenta art charm will make it something students might like to treat themselves to (or a loved one as a gift!)
- The lobster clasp allows easy attachment to a lanyard, badge reel, or bag, keeping it within reach during training or placement.
- The acrylic charm (35mm, printed on one side) features my original placenta artwork.
- The beads are strung on a metal eye pin looped at the end.
- These beads are designed as a study tool and decorative accessory.
- I am a reiki practitioner and I will cleanse your crystals to make sure they arrive with you ready to give you love and support in your amazing journey to becoming a midwife.
Imperial Jasper: A Stone of Strength for Student Midwives
As a student midwife, your path is one of dedication, learning, and deep emotional investment. Imperial Jasper is a powerful stone that offers the grounding, resilience, and focus needed to navigate your studies, placements, and the intense moments of midwifery training.
✨ Emotional Strength & Stability – Midwifery is as emotionally demanding as it is rewarding. Imperial Jasper is known for its calming energy, helping to reduce stress, ease anxiety, and provide emotional balance during challenging shifts and exams.
🌿 Grounding & Endurance – With long hours and demanding placements, staying centred is essential. This stone’s connection to the Earth promotes stability, perseverance, and a deep inner strength, allowing you to approach your work with confidence.
🧠 Focus & Clarity – Retaining knowledge and making critical decisions under pressure is a key part of being a student midwife. Imperial Jasper is believed to enhance concentration and problem-solving skills, supporting you through coursework, clinical skills, and real-world experience.
💗 Compassion & Connection – Midwifery is a calling of the heart. This nurturing stone resonates with the heart chakra, encouraging deep empathy, intuition, and the ability to provide care with warmth and kindness.
Please note that I make no official claims about its healing properties. These beads are designed as a study tool and decorative accessory, not a medical device.
- Small parts, keep out of reach of children. Not suitable for under 3s or children. Not a toy.
Gentle Wipe-Down:
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe each bead.
- Avoid soaking the beads, as prolonged exposure to water can dull their surface.
Mild Soap Solution (If Needed):
- Mix a few drops of mild soap (like unscented dish soap) with warm water.
- Dip a soft cloth or brush (such as a clean makeup brush or a soft toothbrush) into the soapy water and gently clean the beads.
Rinse & Dry Thoroughly:
- Wipe the beads with a clean damp cloth to remove any soap residue.
- Use a dry microfiber or cotton cloth to remove excess moisture.
- Let them air dry completely before storing or using them again.
Energetic Cleansing
If you use your Imperial Jasper beads as an energetic or healing tool, you may also want to cleanse them spiritually:
Smudging: Pass them through the smoke of sage, palo santo, or incense.
Moonlight Charging: Leave them in moonlight overnight (especially during a full moon) to refresh their energy.
Selenite or Clear Quartz: Place the beads near a piece of selenite or clear quartz to cleanse them without physical cleaning.
What to Avoid
No harsh chemicals or cleaners (they can damage the stone’s polish).
No prolonged soaking (Imperial Jasper is slightly porous and can absorb water).
