An A3 250gsm poster print of my original watercolour cosmic newborn and mummy artwork. I painted this for my Maggie and I - based on a newborn photograph we had taken. The photographers wanted to do their usual thing where they dress the baby all cute - but I said 'no, I just want me and her, naked, together.'

I wanted a photo that symbolised the moment after birth that we didn't get - the moment where I would have brought her up to my chest, and met her slowly and full of wonder. This painting is for all the mummies that didn't get those magical moments. And all the ones that did.
